REF Case Referrals
REF provides targeted assistance to individuals and families experiencing vulnerability in Malaysia. All support is assessed on a case-by-case basis and subject to available funding.
Our Priority Populations
REF was established to support refugees and asylum seekers and has since expanded to serve other vulnerable communities. While we prioritize the following groups, support is not limited to them and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
-
Individuals forced to flee their homes due to conflict, violence, or persecution. Legal status is not a determining factor for support.
-
Individuals not recognized as citizens by any country and who often lack legal identity, documentation, and access to basic services.
-
Foreign workers/nationals living or working in Malaysia with or without valid documentation, often due to systemic or economic barriers.
